Dear Summer..

Things are startin out pretty.. eh.. okay i guess. this maxwell - pretty wings playin in my ears is kinda relaxin.. coach carter on mute [i dont watch tv like dat anyway].. this song is really lovely.. aw! but like i was sayin.. i mean things are workin out as planned, in a way. i got a job, makin dat guap.. makin about 300 in a week.. so im livin kinda good.. big ups to God!! im tryna save tho for this apt me and the hubby bout to be gettin.. yeah life is movin that fast for me.. but ima go ahead and accept it. i havent wrote out loud in a while.. u know without the editin and shit.. just writin, u feel me? my thoughts and ery'thing.. i wish i could work more on my music on a daily.. but on some days i juss feel uninspired or juss plain worn out by these summer heat waves.. hot as hell one day, rainy the next.. i got a feelin its gon be like this all season.. but chea even tho im a artist its sometimes hard for me to express myself thru my words.. i wish i could write like some of these folks out here.. but im diff'rent.. nah.. im unique.. yeah dat sounds a lot better.. i be wantin to paint murals and shit on my walls lol.. or buyin a couple of garments from the thrift and juss creatin some slight shit haha.. its kinda irritatin that i be wantin to do so many things.. i guess its the capricorn in me.. but i love it! yeah, i love it.. him tryna read more too.. i believe it'll help me wit ideas and shit.. im juss now startin to read this book my brotha got for me two christmas's ago called GHETTO NATION.. its good so far.. the first 20 pages anyway lol.. i know i know, sad aint it? its cool doe.. i be politic'n wit a couple of my co-workers and dey be layin some knowledge on me.. very informative and enlightenin.. i can dig it.. one is a singer and guitar player, the otha a poet/writer.. both grown ass men.. well 26 and 53. lol how i know that? people talk man.. and i juss listen.. i swear i learn somethin new from my man Greg everyday lol.. dude can talk ya head off.. but hes cool, yeah he cool.. he around my mothas age so he know more about life than i do and hes a virgo juss like one of my best friends so i can relate to his matters on a lot of levels.. thats why i dont mind my job too much, when im surrounded by creative souls it makes life a little more easier..

Long time no blog

So its been about 21 days since the release of Studio 1206 and there has been a total of 254 downloads plus 100 hard copy give away equaling out to 354!
YAY!

I'm pretty stoked about the results.. gotta admit that im lovin the love and the support!

Since the release.. ive continued to write songs, i plan on havin over 200 written and recorded by December 2009.. and in my mind thas not impossible! i dont know if im gonna make those into projects or not i juss wanna keep writin and continue to progress. ya dig?
